Our Mission
"Every person deserves to run — and to run their best."
Too many young athletes are held back not by a lack of talent or drive, but by a simple lack of access to equipment. A pair of spikes that a runner has outgrown could be the difference for someone else who can't afford their first pair.
Runners Outreach Initiative is a New Jersey-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that bridges that gap — collecting donated track and field gear and delivering it directly to underfunded school programs in our community.
From donation boxes in local running stores to corporate partners — every piece of gear counts.
We collect, sort, and personally deliver equipment to schools that need it most — at no cost to the athletes.
We Accept
How It Works
Donation boxes at local running stores make it easy for community members to drop off gear they no longer use. New or used — everything is welcome.
We personally deliver collected gear to underfunded track programs in New Jersey — putting equipment in the hands of athletes who need it most.
Donate Equipment
We accept all track and field equipment in any condition. If you've outgrown your spikes, upgraded your shoes, or have equipment collecting dust — we'll put it to work.
What We Accept
We are currently securing drop-off locations at running stores across New Jersey. Check back soon for confirmed locations near you.
